2022 Fun Run in Color is an untimed 5K run/walk for all ages and abilities, presented by the Wheaton Park District and the Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M. Rathje Woodward LLC and its employees have supported the Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M. for many years and is a proud sponsor of this year’s Run.
Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M. members believe that they have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Consistent with that mission, a portion of the proceeds from the run will benefit the Play for All Playground & Garden Foundation. The Play for All Playground & Garden Foundation provides ongoing support to advance the mission to create barrier-free and universally accessible outdoor play spaces and gardens in DuPage County. Through the cognitive, social, and physical values of play, the Foundation promotes a spirit of inclusion and enhanced quality of life, as well as supports involvement in recreation and wellness activities for all people and abilities.
This year’s Fun Run will host an after-race color party in Memorial Park located at 225 Karlskoga Ave, Wheaton. Be sure to stick around for DJ entertainment, giveaways, and the final color throw! The 2022 Fun Run in Color offers both an in-person and virtual race option. The in-person race steps off at Main & Seminary at 8:30 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Online registration is $35 and will be available until 11:59 PM (CST) on April 5, 2022. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as race is subject to capacity limitations and may close at any time prior to this date. Registration is also available at packet pick-up and on race day for $40 per person.
Packet pickup will be held at the Community Center, 1777 S Blanchard St., Wheaton, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 7. Or in the alternative, everything may be picked up on race day at the race location. Packet pickup will end 15 minutes before the race starts on race day.
