On April 12, 2019, Scott Pointner and James Arrigo, attorneys in Rathje Woodward’s condominium/homeowner association practice group, will be speakers at the Annual Legal Forum sponsored by the Community Association Institute (CAI) at the Abbington Banquet Hall in Wheaton, IL. Eight law firms will present “Hot Legal Topics” which affect community associations.
Scott Pointer’s portion of the presentation will explain 2014’s Palm II court decision that has impacted how nearly every association operates. James Arrigo will look at how state lawmakers have subsequently attempted to soften some of the more drastic effects of that ruling. James will also participate in a panel to discuss association-related issues and field questions.
