Rathje Woodward LLC recently obtained a defense verdict for an education institution on claims for discrimination and retaliation. The plaintiffs were two former students who alleged that they experienced discrimination and retaliation from several instructors, resulting in failing grades and dismissal from the institution. After a week-long bench trial via Zoom, the Court found in favor of Rathje Woodward’s client on all claims in the case.  Emily A. Shupe and Heather L. Kramer tried the case, with litigation support from John E. Frank and Matthew L. Pagano.
