Attorneys Karen Mills, Kaitlyn Wild, and Amanda Zannoni presented a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar to the DuPage County Bar Association for the Mega Meeting on March 12, 2021. “Wait… I’m not Dead Yet and I Need my Money!” explored common problems that elderly clients and their families experience when executing or administering trusts, wills, and powers of attorney, and presented solutions to those problems. The presenters also discussed two case studies detailing what to do and what not to do in these situations, how to handle a client who has already been a victim of these issues, and how to handle a client who engages an attorney early enough to prevent these issues.
