On Friday, May 20, 2022, Rathje Woodward LLC hosted a private swearing-in ceremony for Associate Attorney Paris L. Smith. The Honorable Illinois Supreme Court Justice Michael J. Burke presided over the ceremony and administered Ms. Smith’s Attorney Oath. The Honorable Justice S. Louis Rathje (Ret.) made the motion before the Court for Ms. Smith’s admission to the bar, which was thereafter seconded by Rathje Woodward LLC Member Timothy D. Elliott. Unsurprisingly, the Court granted the motion without opposition. Several judges, members and attorneys attended the ceremony, along with Ms. Smith’s family. The firm thanks everyone who attended and all who helped make this happy and very special occasion possible.
