Rathje Woodward is pleased to announce that attorney Amanda M. Zannoni has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2021. Amanda joins this elite group of only 2.5% of Illinois attorneys selected for this distinction each year.
Amanda joined Rathje Woodward in 2020 to concentrate her practice of law in the areas of wealth preservation, estate planning, trusts and estates litigation, long-term care planning, special needs planning, and probate litigation. Prior to joining Rathje Woodward, Amanda represented independent administrators through the probate process, drafted complex and simple wills, trusts, pre-nuptial agreements, and settlement agreements. In addition to her trusts and estates practice, Amanda has represented clients in contested domestic relations matters including dissolution of marriage, child custody disputes, and issues of spousal and child financial support. Amanda is known for building and maintaining relationships on trust and collaboration with clients.
Amanda is actively involved in public service. She is a certified Guardian ad Litem serving the best interests of minor children for family law cases in DuPage County. She was the recipient of the Legal Assistance Foundation Pro Bono Service Award in 2019. Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Justinian’s Association for Italian American Lawyers, and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. Before choosing to pursue the practice of law, Amanda worked as a behavioral health professional in rural Maine, serving families with children experiencing difficulties related to mental and developmental disorders, including autism, oppositional defiance disorder, and attachment disorders.
