Jordan counsels businesses and other institutional clients on a variety of litigation, employment, and transactional matters, including extensive experience in the banking and manufacturing sectors.
Jordan has litigated cases and appeals in state and federal courts across 13 different states. He has defended three trials through verdict, and regularly obtains early dispute resolutions through summary judgment proceedings or settlement when it serves his client’s best interests. Jordan also represents businesses and individuals in commercial arbitration matters.
His labor and employment experience includes counseling clients on disputes arising out of restrictive covenants, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination allegations. He also has defended employers before various administrative agencies, including the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
On the transactional front, Jordan helps his clients minimize risk and maximize profitability by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business agreements and corporate formation documents. Jordan uses his litigation expertise to assess potential pitfalls for his clients, enabling them to achieve their business objectives.
A lifelong resident of DuPage County, Jordan believes in contributing to his community. In his free time, Jordan volunteers with a number of local charitable organizations and serves as a judge and evaluator for the Illinois State Bar Association High School Mock Trial competition each year.
