Rathje & Woodward LLC, DuPage County’s oldest law firm, is pleased to announce that Timothy D. Elliott has joined the firm’s litigation and appellate practice.
Prior to joining Rathje & Woodward LLC, Elliott was a member in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, one of the nation’s largest law firms. He has a broad range of litigation experience, and has handled commercial, real estate, products liability, and administrative law cases. He also has considerable experience in counseling debtors and creditors in complex corporate restructurings and bankruptcies. His clients have included some of the largest corporations in the world.
“We are pleased Tim has joined Rathje & Woodward LLC, ” member Tracy Kasson said. “Tim is a talented attorney, who has handled everything from multi-billion dollar business valuation disputes to pro bono civil rights cases. He will be a great addition to our team.”
The 33-year-old Elliott is a native of Glen Ellyn. He graduated with honors from Harvard Law School, and holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Miami University. Elliott is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Loyola University School of Law.
“I am glad to be back in DuPage County,” Elliott said. “I look forward to taking on new challenges here and continuing to expand my expertise and practice at Rathje and Woodward.”
